MEET THE TEAM

MARIA

Maria is a Cloud Solution Architect who partners with CIOs and solution architects to transform their digital estates into sustainable solutions. After spending two decades working in IT for multimillion dollar logos, Maria knows what truly drives cost optimisations, future-proof designs and environmentally-conscious solutions—and it’s not implementing technology for technology’s sake. It’s how well you connect human experiences to your solutions and by considering your impact to your competitors, as well as your neighbours. Maria has landed data and AI solutions around the world through her work at Avanade, Colt, and Microsoft. She’s often experimenting with IoT devices and visualizing real-time telemetry data. In addition to her extensive solutioning experience, Maria spends her timing cooking up a southern meal or competing with family in a friendly board game.

DANIEL

Daniel has fifteen years of academic and professional experience related to digital technology and heritage solutions. He has a PhD in Architecture from the University of Edinburgh, where he is also an Honorary Research Fellow. He has completed a variety of research initiatives and on-site field work, including projects for the U.S. State Department. Daniel supported the development of Business Intelligence, AI/ML and Data Visualization solutions as the European Data and Analytics Lead at Avanade/Accenture and most recently oversaw the creation of the Innovation Experience Centre at Colt Technology Services.

CHARLES

Before Net Zero Heritage, Charles had extensive experience in wireless sensor network design, molecular engineering, and business strategy. He supported the design and development of biosensors at the Department of Bioengineering at the University of California, San Diego, with his work published in IEEE. He then spent time at Takeda, Thermo Fisher, and Illumina, supporting the development of stem cell therapies and diagnostic DNA/RNA sequencing technologies. He has since worked as a strategy professional at Analysys Mason, Colt Technology Services, and Comcast/Sky, advising on commercial and operational excellence. He has an MPhil in Technology Policy from the University of Cambridge, and a BS in Bioengineering from the University of California, San Diego.
